Good mental health

The World Health Organization defines health as “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” Unfortunately, in Pakistan, talking about mental health is still considered a taboo. We are taught all our lives to bottle up our emotions which, when finally exploded, create disturbances all around us.
In a country like ours which has a lot of hurdles to tackle before it can rise high in the comity of nations, it is necessary for all of us to take care of our minds as much as our body to become useful and conscientious citizens of the state. We ought to thrive, not just survive.
