It appears even though Kate Middleton has made a complete turn around since she was first diagnosed with cancer, there are many who worried of the implications of jetting off on a solo engagement, that too for multiple days, and overseas at that.

For those unversed, much of the apprehension comes from Prince William’s camp because even though their plan was for at least one parent to stay home with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, he’s been in “hyper-protection mode” for so long now, it’s hard to turn that off.

More insight has been shared by a well placed source that recently sat down with Heat World and according to their findings, William “doesn’t love” that she went without him, but “it was agreed that one of them should stay home with the children,” and “since Kate is so passionate about this cause, she went.”

Moreover, this trip was ‘proof’ that he’s trying very hard to support her desire to get back to life as normal and according to the insider, Kate’s “insisting that it’s all fine” and “that she can handle” things no problem, “but that hasn’t stopped William from worrying and he’s been requesting that everyone around her be extra cautious.”

It event came to the point that behind-the-scenes Kate’s team was urged to ‘shield’ her as much as they can from anything stressful, “only they need to be very surreptitious about it so that she doesn’t notice.”

The source also admitted a bit later into the conversation, “it’s very much a reflection of what’s happening in their household right now. William is so happy to have Kate back to health, but he’s been in hyper-protection mode with her for so long now, it’s hard to turn that off.”

But she’s “very headstrong though” so “he’s going to have to get used to her forging ahead; she has real fire in her belly to do as much as she possibly can now that she’s got her health back.”

Moreover, before concluding the insider said, “for the most part she lets that thing roll off her back, but it’s very difficult for William any time people take swipes at her and it makes him see.”
