Irfan, Murad set final date in All Pakistan Badminton

KARACHI: WAPDA’s Irfan Saeed and Murad Ali of NBP cruised into the final of men’s singles event of the 3rd PNSC All Pakistan Ranking Badminton Tournament in Lahore.
In the semi-finals, Irfan defeated Abdur Rehman by 22-20, 21-14. Murad Ali thrashed Muqeet Tahir of WAPDA by 21-12, 21-16.
In women’s singles semi-finals, Mahoor Shahzad of WAPDA defeated Huma Javed by 21-9, 21-7 to set final date with NBP’s Palwasha Bashir, who overpowered Khizra of WAPDA by 21-18, 21-11.
