Save the city of lights
Karachi is called the ‘city of lights’. It is unfortunate that certain elements are tampering with the city’s beauty. If heaps of garbage weren’t enough, ugly graffiti on walls added more to the damage already done. Cleanliness holds great importance and a clean country shows how responsible and civilised citizens are. Almost all walls of the city are covered with advertisements. This ruins the beauty of localities within the city. All of us know that all products require publicity to increase their market rates. But this is not the only way to advertise. Companies can come up with better ways to advertise their products.
In the past, many people raised their voices against the wall-chalking. But nothing has changed. This is not just the responsibility of the authorities. As citizens, we should also be responsible for keeping our city clean.
