Daesh terrorists killed in CTD raid
RAWALPINDI: Counter Terrorism Department raided village Saanj in Murree to nab Ehsan Satti and Imran Satti, the Daesh terrorists who were planning to attack media houses in Islamabad.
The CTD, following a tip-off, conducted an intelligence based operation in the wee hours of Friday who were present there along with another accomplice. They were asked to surrender but they opened fire on the force injuring two CTD officers. The terrorists also threw two hand grenades at the CTD team. According to CTD officials when firing stopped Ehsan Satti was found dead who was killed by his accomplices.
Satti and another managed to flee the scene. The CTD recovered IEDs a rifle a pistol bullets and other explosive material.
The terrorists were involved in attack on 19 police posts in which police officials were killed and attack on ARY media house Islamabad in 2015. Now they were planning more attacks on media houses and sensitive agencies. Fleeing Imran Satti is stated to be head of Daesh in the area. An FIR has been lodged and efforts were underway to arrest the fleeing terrorists.
