Shiv Sena stops Muslim actor from working in drama
NEW DELHI: Extremists Hindus’ anti-Muslim attitude was exposed again with hardliners barring renowned Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui from working in stage drama Ram Leela.
Nowadays every extremist Hindu party is doing something odd to take lead in anti-Pakistan bandwagon. Sometimes they openly threaten the Pakistani artistes to leave India while some times they reach police stations to register cases against their own actors for not condemning the Uri attack.
It seems that Shiv Sena and Bajrang Dal have nothing to do except sloganeering against Pakistan and Pakistan’s well- wishers in India are on top of their list. But in the recent episode of their odd action, they targeted Muslim actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui without any reason. The actor has issued a statement against Pakistan. Despite that, the actor could not make room in the hearts of Indian hardliners.
A stage drama Ram Leela has to be staged in the Indian city of Muzzafargarh but rogues of Shiv Sena protested over the inclusion of a Muslim actor in the drama. The organisers have kicked out the actor from the drama over the hardliners’ protest.
