TANK: Unidentified persons shot dead a tribal journalist Zaman Mahsud on the Tank-Wana Road on Tuesday, official sources said. The sources said unknown assailants targeted him when he was on his way to the Tank city. His body was taken to the District Headquarters Hospital in Tank for autopsy where from it was shifted to the Nursus locality in Tank for burial. The funeral prayers of Zaman Mahsud will be held in Nursus at 10am today. He is survived by his widow, three sons and two daughters. Zaman Mahsud had been working as a journalist for the last 15 years. He was working for the daily Ummat and Sana news agency. He was also a member of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan in South Waziristan and president of the Ladha Press Club.
