Three killed in Swat accident
MINGORA: Three persons were killed and 11 others sustained injuries in a road mishap in Matta tehsil of Swat district on Monday, official sources said.
The sources said that the driver of a speeding coach lost control over the steering in Chupryal Venei. The vehicle fell into a deep ditch, leaving three passengers dead and 11 others injured.
The dead were identified as Mian Gul, Banjar Khan and a soldier.
The bodies and injured were taken to a hospital in Matta.
Valuables gutted in house: Valuables worth millions of rupees were reduced to ashes as fire broke out in a house in Kabal tehsil of Swat district on Sunday, police sources said.
They said that the fire erupted in the house of one Amirzeb in Nangolai area in Kabal tehsil due to electrical short-circuiting.
They said that the officials of the fire brigade reached the spot and extinguished the fire.
