BSEK announces results for matric general group

The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) on Monday announced the results for the Matriculation General Group regular and private.

This time a girl from a private school secured the 1st position. BSEK Chairman Ghulam Hussain Soho said transparency in results was one of the board’s top priorities. He congratulated the students who secured positions.

Officials said that on special instructions of Soho, the controller of examinations, Zaheeruddin Bhutto, announced the results of the annual examinations of Class 10 General Group Regular and Private, and hearing and speech impaired students for the year 2025.

These results can be viewed on the board's website www.bsek.edu.pk and on the board's official WhatsApp channel. The controller of examinations said a total of 15,497 candidates had registered for the General Group regular and private examinations, of whom 14,795 candidates took the examinations.

Sana bint Muhammad Idris of the Al-Badr Girls Higher Secondary School, Amil Colony, secured the first position with 89.27 per cent marks, Bushra bint Muhammad Imran of the Mama Indigo School System, Guru Mandir, secured the second position with 87.73 per cent marks, and Haniya bint Muhammad Yousuf of the Mama Indigo School System, Guru Mandir, secured the third position with 87.36 per cent marks.

Furthermore, 114 of the 124 special students with hearing and speech disabilities who had taken the matriculation examinations cleared the examinations with the success rate of 91.94 per cent. Syed Saif Ali Shah, son of Gul Sher Shah, of the Absa School for the Deaf, Korangi, secured the first position with 89.64 per cent marks, Hamida Hassan Ansari, daughter of Attaul Hassan ,secured the second position with 88.45 per cent marks, and Ziaur Rehman, son of Fazlur Rehman, secured the third position with 86.18 per cent marks. All the three positions were secured by students of the Absa School for the Deaf.
