Pakistan’s foreignpolicy exposes Indian narrative on global stage: Irfan Siddiqui
ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Parliamentary Party of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) in the Senate and Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs Senator Irfan Siddiqui, praised the country’s foreign policy under Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, calling them “effective and commendable at the international level.”
He made these remarks during a meeting with Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch, who called on him at his office on Thursday. During the meeting, the foreign secretary briefed Senator Siddiqui on Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives to highlight the country’s position in the context of recent tensions with India. She also apprised him of Foreign Minister Dar’s recent diplomatic engagements aimed at raising the issue of Palestine at political and international forums. The foreign secretary further outlined Pakistan’s humanitarian support efforts in Gaza, noting that the delivery of food and essential supplies to the conflict-affected population was ongoing. Senator Irfan Siddiqui expressed appreciation for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs performance, stating that “Our effective and successful diplomacy has exposed India’s false narrative. No country in the world has endorsed its version of the Pahalgam incident.” He also noted that the people of Gaza are currently facing a severe food crisis, and added that the Government of Pakistan’s efforts in this regard reflect the sentiments of the Pakistani public.
