The Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC) on Saturday returned 104 stolen and snatched vehicles to their rightful owners during a formal ceremony held on Saturday at the AVLC headquarters in Sharifabad.

The event was attended by SSP AVLC Amjad Ahmed Shaikh, who personally handed over the recovered vehicles to the owners. The vehicles included popular models such as Toyota Revo, Toyota Corolla GLI, Suzuki Mehran, Suzuki Cultus, Honda City, and others.

According to AVLC officials, the vehicles were recovered through a series of successful investigations and technical operations carried out across various parts of the country, including Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and Sindh.

Several of the recovered vehicles were reportedly being used with fake number plates, tampered chassis numbers, and forged documents. AVLC stated that the recoveries were made possible through advanced technical verification, trace-based location tracking, and close inter-provincial coordination.

Victims of vehicle theft who attended the ceremony expressed their appreciation for the police. One car owner said, “I couldn’t believe my car would ever be returned, but AVLC proved that the police stand with the public.”

Authorities also confirmed that further investigations are ongoing, and arrests have been made in several related cases.
