This refers to the letter ‘LLB marathon’ (May15, 2025) by Murknabi Balooch. The writer’s views on the current nature of LLB programmes in Pakistan are quite justified. It is true that law degrees are made unnecessarily lengthy by including courses that have no relevance to the legal profession.
Shorter LLB programmes have also produced top lawyers and judges in the past. We need to bring back the three-year LLB programme.
