Meghan Markle and Princess Catherine divide reignited after new family images

Claims about tensions between Meghan Markle and Princess Catherine have resurfaced after latest royal family images were recently made public by the Prince and Princess of Wales.

The new photographs, marking the 15th wedding anniversary of Prince William and Catherine, showed the couple posing with their children outdoors. 

Shortly after, the Wales family released more content, including a birthday portrait of Princess Charlotte and a short video of her playing outdoors with her brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis.

The releases, though received positively by royal watchers, have also renewed commentary around how different members of the royal family handle public visibility.

Sources in media reports say the Sussexes are frustrated by the difference between the Waleses’ carefully planned public images and Meghan Markle’s more limited personal posts.

Meghan and her husband Prince Harry have previously expressed concerns about how they are portrayed in comparison to other senior royals. In earlier interviews, Meghan has spoken about feeling unfairly judged and described the strain of public scrutiny during her time as a working royal.

The couple has also faced criticism online for sharing private family moments, particularly involving their children, while actively maintaining strict boundaries with the press. Meghan has defended this approach, saying in past interviews that protecting her children’s privacy is a priority and that she is cautious about how and where their images are shared.

Tensions between the two couples has been at the centre of attention since Prince Harry and Meghan stepped back from royal duties in 2020.
