Electronics worth millions seized at Lahore airport

LAHORE : Customs officials at Allama Iqbal International Airport seized a large consignment of electronics and luxury gadgets from a female passenger arriving from Dubai.
According to Deputy Collector customs traffic Lahore Airport, the passenger, identified through passport number AV4318612, was carrying more than 50 different high-value electronic items and luxury accessories.
The items included multiple android mobile phones, headphones, wireless earbuds, gaming consoles and smartwatches.
The total quantity of items runs into dozens, with estimated declared value reaching several million rupees.
Talking to The News, the deputy collector said that the items were confiscated under customs regulations.
