New footage shows Armaghan firing gunshots at cops during raid on his DHA house
A video has emerged showing a raid conducted by the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) on February 8 on the residence of Armaghan, the prime suspect in the Mustafa Amir murder case, located on Defence Housing Authority’s Khayaban-e-Momin.
In the footage, Armaghan is seen opening fire on police officers. As the exchange of gunfire continues, all the officers, including DSP Ahsan Zulfiqar — who sustained injuries during the encounter — are seen retreating from the house. The video also shows the injured DSP being dragged across the floor and out of the premises.
The six-minute and 26-second-long video, captured by multiple CCTV cameras installed at Armaghan’s home, was released to the media. In one clip, Armaghan appears undressed during the raid, and a girl is also seen inside the house at the time of the operation.
The footage shows Armaghan descending the staircase from the upper floor while continuing to fire at the police. He is seen wielding an M4 rifle equipped with a flashlight. He fires at the officers twice before retreating into a room.
The video also captures police personnel strategising outside the house prior to the raid.
Officers then enter the residence, dispersing into various areas as Armaghan fires at them from above.
Additionally, the footage reveals the police ramming open the bungalow’s main gate with a mobile van. As officers approach the staircase, he opens fire, injuring DSP Zulfiqar and several others.
The injured DSP and another officer are seen being dragged to safety in the video. Around the same time, a girl is seen exiting Armaghan’s room.
