Efforts on to strengthen ties between UK, Pakistan: new British diplomat
Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori met newly posted British Deputy High Commissioner in Karachi, Lance Gavin Domm, at the Governor House on Tuesday.
The governor greeted Domm on assuming the charge of his new diplomatic assignment in Karachi. The two dignitaries discussed relations between the UK and Pakistan, as well as cooperation, investment opportunities, and trade prospects between the two friendly nations in different sectors.
The governor briefed the British deputy high commissioner on vast investment opportunities in the country for UK-based businesses and companies. The British diplomat said efforts were underway to strengthen ties between the two countries. He said the free IT education programme at the Governor House would brighten the future of youth from underprivileged families.
