ISLAMABAD: Bushra Bibi’s lawyer has completed the cross-examination of another NAB witness in the Toshakhana-II case on Thursday, while the lawyer representing the PTI founder is set to cross-examine the same witness at the next hearing.
The hearing of the Toshakhana-II case took place at Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi, presided over by Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand.
Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were presented before the court. During the proceedings, Bushra Bibi’s lawyer concluded the cross-examination of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Director Qaiser Mahmood.
The lawyer for PTI founder Imran Khan will cross-examine Qaiser Mahmood at the upcoming hearing.
So far, statements from seven witnesses have been recorded in the case, with cross-examinations of five witnesses already completed. The court has adjourned further proceedings in the case until January 28.
