A 28-year-old man was killed and buried by his stepfather after a domestic dispute in Ahsanabad. The body of the victim, identified as Asad, was discovered late on Sunday night or early on Monday morning in a house located in Noor Muhammad Goth, within the jurisdiction of the Site Superhighway Industrial Area police station.
According to police, Asad, a barber by profession, had moved to Karachi from Islamabad three months ago. The victim had frequent disputes with his stepfather, Tauqeer, who is believed to be responsible for the murder. After committing the crime, Tauqeer fled the scene with his three daughters.
Police said the body had been buried for over 24 hours before it was found. Asad's hands and feet were tied, and he had been killed with a sharp weapon. The victim's mother, a housemaid, had been away for two days. Upon her return, she noticed signs of digging in one of the rooms of the house. Upon further investigation, she found her son's body buried under the floor. The police launched a search for the accused stepfather and his daughters and were continuing their investigation into the crime. Further legal and forensic processes are underway.
