Three held on murder charge in Takht Bhai
TAKHT BHAI: The police here on Wednesday arrested three persons on the charges of killing two members of the transgender community.
A team consisting of SP Investigation Nisar Khan, SP City Shafiur Rahman, DSP City Ijaz Khan and SHO Abdul Salam Khan used advanced forensic methods and human intelligence to identify and apprehend the suspects.
The accused identified as Ziauddin, Muhammad Rahman and Adnan Khan confessed to the crime during investigation.The police also claimed to have recovered the motorcycle and weapon used in the killings.
According to the first information report, Arshad Ali known as Shoqi, informed the police that he was present with the victims, Salman alias Salmano and Sabir alias Nazka when three unidentified men barged into their residence.
He said that one person was armed with a pistol and the other carried a sword.The assailants attacked the transgendered persons with the sword, fatally wounding Salman and Sabir. Arshad said he saved himself by hiding in the bathroom.
