Prince William and Harry’s uncle gets beloved painting back after wedding
Earl Charles Spencer recently returned from the US after his wedding to Cat Jarman
Prince William and Prince Harry’s uncle Charles Spencer said Saturday that a historic portrait had been returned to Althorp House after expert inspection in London.
The younger brother of the late Princess Diana said the early 17th-century work depicts a French aristocrat of royal blood, who stood for Charles I at his wedding, alongside his loyal Talbot dog.
The 61-year-old Earl Spencer recently returned home a visit to the US where he got married to Cat Jarman.
He revealed on Thursday that he was back at the Althorp Estate in Northamptonshire, home to the Diana's final resting place.
The Earl married Norwegian archaeologist Cat, 43, last Friday in Arizona, sharing stunning wedding photos in front of the iconic Cathedral Rock in the red hills of Sedona.
