Prince William reveals name of Princess Charlotte's favorite football team
Princess William just returned from Istanbul where his favorite team won Europa League
Two days after celebrating the Europa League victory of his favorite football team, Aston Villa's , Prince William has revealed that his daughter Princess Charlotte is a Chelsea supporter.
The Prince of Wales revealed this during his engagements in Cornwall after returning from Istanbul.
The heir to the British throne visited the Duchy of Cornwall’s Nansledan development near Newquay on Thursday, where he met residents, charity workers and people involved in a housing initiative designed to support those at risk of homelessness.
The project is being delivered in partnership with the Cornish homelessness charity St Petrocs and William’s Homewards programme, which aims to develop long-term local solutions to homelessness across the UK.
Speaking with locals, the prince joked about football loyalties within his own household and revealed that his daughter Charlotte, 11, supports Chelsea.
The remark sparked reactions on social media, particularly because William previously admitted he had once been “a bit concerned” about his children backing Chelsea.
