PNS Yarmook conducts exercise with Royal Navy of Oman
This exercise is aimed at developing mutual understanding between the two navies
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Navy Ship (PNS) Yarmook conducted a passage exercise with the Royal Navy of Oman Vessel (RNOV), Al Seeb during a Regional Maritime Security Patrol in the Gulf of Oman.
The exercise was aimed at developing mutual understanding between the two navies while demonstrating interoperability to undertake joint operations in the region, the media wing of the Pakistan Navy said on Tuesday.
Earlier, Yarmook visited Muscat, Oman, where the Commanding Officer called on the military leadership of Oman and discussed matters of mutual interest.
Pakistan Navy regularly operates along with other navies for peace and stability in the region. Cognizant of its national obligation to maintain rule-based order at sea, the Pakistan Navy regularly deploys its warships on the Regional Maritime Security Patrol (RMSP) and contributes to collaborative maritime security efforts.
