Gaddafi Stadium upgrade project to be launched today
Three stadiums -- in Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Lahore – will be upgraded to host matches

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has invited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to be the chief guest at the foundation stone laying ceremony for the Gaddafi
Stadium upgrade project in Lahore. The ceremony is scheduled for Monday (today). The upgrade is part of PCB’s preparations for the Champions Trophy 2025, which will be hosted in Pakistan.
Three stadiums -- in Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Lahore – will be upgraded to host matches.
The Gaddafi Stadium upgrade plans include relocating the main building closer to the box, incorporating hospitality boxes in the front and PCB offices at the back, and expanding the enclosures on both sides. PCB has allocated Rs12.8 billion for the upgrade of these three stadiums.
