Olympian Junaid named PMYP focal person

ISLAMABAD: Olympian Khawaja Junaid has been appointed as focal person of the Prime Minister Youth Programme (PMYP).
“Khawaja Junaid has an unblemished career as a hockey legend. With the help, experience and exposure of Khawaja Junaid, I am hopeful that Pakistan would make rapid progress on the sports front,” Rana Mushhood, Prime Minister Advisor on Youth Programme, said.
Khawaja Junaid was excited at the new position. “It is really an honour to become the focal person of the Prime Minister Youth Programme. I will make my best effort to come up with the confidence and trust reposed in me.” He added that every effort would be made to bring talented athletes to the grounds.
