Annual intermediate exams begin in Hyderabad
HYDERABAD: The annual intermediate examinations started under the auspices of the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Hyderabad (BISEH) on Wednesday. Students took their exams in nine districts: Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Dadu, Thatta, Badin, Sujawal, Matiari, Tando Allahyar and Tando Mohammad Khan.
BISEH Controller of Examinations Dr Masroor Zai said that the second-year mathematics exam was held from 8:30am to 11:30am.
The annual exams are being held in two phases: from May 29 to June 4 for second-year students, and from June 5 to June 12 for first-year students. Zai said that 195 exam centres have been established in the nine districts, with a total of 122,963 students (59,292 of second-year and 63,671 of first-year) registered to take the exams.
