Shell Pakistan posts profit
KARACHI: Shell Pakistan Limited (SPL) reported a profit after tax of Rs314 million for the first quarter of 2024, compared to a loss of Rs4.762 billion in the same period last year, a statement said on Wednesday.
The company's Mobility business expanded its network with five new sites and refreshed 13 existing ones, adding 13 non-fuel retail facilities across its network.The Lubricants business introduced Shell Lubricant Solutions, providing end-to-end services to business-to-business customers, the company said.
SPL also organized an eye camp for mechanics in collaboration with the Layton Rahmatulla Benevolent Trust (LRBT), providing free eye screening to ensure healthy eyesight and contribute to community well-being.The company remains committed to operational excellence, safety performance, strengthening its financial position, and playing a responsible role in society, it said.
