Unjust charges
Solar power is something that all the world would like to harvest and utilize. Clean, green and renewable, it is a great help to the national economy. IPPs are Frankenstein’s monsters created by the government that are draining the nation's money in the name of capacity charges. Seemingly in order to pay the capacity charges, the government wishes to decrease the buyback of clean renewable solar energy from small private home owners. This is a ridiculous approach to the problem generated by short-sighted leaders. I think we must revisit our agreements with the IPPs and abolish the capacity charges. We must only pay for what we utilize. And we must encourage all home users to use and produce more and more solar power and to give the extra energy produced to the national grid. Our aim should be to shift to renewable energy and leave fossil fuels behind.
