ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Thursday vehemently condemned the ‘fascist and tyrant regime’ for depriving PTI Founding Chairman Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi of her fundamental and constitutional rights for the much-needed medical tests.
In a statement issued here, PTI spokesperson said that the ‘mandate thieves in league with their guardians’ were making the worst history of fascism and brutality in the country, as she was not being allowed to conduct her necessary medical tests from a trusted doctor despite clear court orders while her health was deteriorating.
He noted that Bushra Bibi was completely healthy before her imprisonment but her digestive system deteriorated when she was given poisonous food after being unjustly imprisoned in a frivolous and concocted case that adversely impacted her eating routine.
He stressed the need for her proper diagnose and treatment from a trusted physician, being her basic and constitutional right but unfortunately the tyrants, who seized the power fraudulently, denied her fundamental rights even in the face of the clear court orders.
PTI spokesperson expressed apprehension that her health condition could seriously deteriorate due to the inordinate delay in diagnose and treatment of her ailment for which the incumbent power usurpers and their protectors would be held accountable.
He urged that the court should take notice of the blatant violation of its orders and take action against the open contempt of court by the jail authorities, besides ensuring medical check-up of Bushra Bibi from her trusted doctor.
He warned if this chapter of oppression was not closed, the nation would hold the oppressors accountable.
