LAHORE: Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique Tuesday chaired a meeting at the University of Child Health Sciences regarding the revamping project of Children's Hospital Lahore.
Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Masood Sadiq, MD Children’s Hospital Prof Dr Tipu Sultan and C&W representatives of related institutions including officers attended the meeting. The minister reviewed the revamping plan of Children's Hospital Lahore in detail during the meeting.
Prof Dr Masood Sadiq and C&W officers briefed the minister, who also reprimanded the C&W officers for the delay in the revamping project. The minister visited three floors of the Children’s Hospital and reviewed the ongoing progress and said the project should be completed in any case. He said incomplete floors should be completed as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Provincial Health Minister Kh Salman Rafique on Tuesday visited Services Hospital to review the revamping project. On this occasion, Principal Services Institute of Medical Sciences Prof Dr Zohra Khanam, MS Dr Saeed Khan, contractors and IDAP officers were present. Contractors and IDAP officers gave a briefing to provincial minister.
Kh Salman Rafique said that the revamping project in Services Hospital is being completed on fast track in two shifts. He also sought a report on the delay in the revamping project in Services Hospital.
