Climate change is a reality but the low-level of environmental awareness amongst our people and policymakers about this problem and the non-implementation of environmental laws across the country means that the issue is not being addressed. This poverty of knowledge and apathy towards climate change will cost us dearly.
If this situation remains, it is unclear how we will reduce the impact of climate change on the country. Pakistan among the countries most vulnerable to climate change. The rulers must act and hire environmental experts to confront this problem.
