LAHORE: A plan to take over Dr Qadeer Khan’s Trust through fake documents and misappropriation of funds has been exposed.

Dr Qadeer had a dream to build a hospital in Lahore for free treatment of the patients. In this regard, he formed a Board of Trust. He had expelled some of the members from the Trust during his lifetime.

After his death, these people allegedly forged the name of Dr Qadeer and expelled him from the Trust. A trust deed was also registered on fake documents.

After a 2-year struggle by the daughter of Dr Qadeer, a case was registered in Lahore against the alleged forgers.

Talking to Geo News, Dr Qadeer’s daughter Dr Dina said she knocked on every door to protect his father’s trust from forgers. She failed to get justice. On the contrary, the opponents threw mud at her, she said.

Dr Dina said after the FIR registered against the counterfeiters, she hoped the courts would deliver justice and she would be able to fulfil her father’s dream.
