Fly Jinnah expands to UAE with Sharjah flights
KARACHI: Fly Jinnah, Pakistan’s low-cost carrier, said on Thursday it had started its international operations with the launch of its inaugural flight from Islamabad to Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.
The airline, which began domestic operations in 2023, will operate double daily flights between the two cities, offering customers seamless and convenient travel options and further connectivity via Sharjah Airport’s wide network, a statement said.
Fly Jinnah added two new Airbus A320 aircraft to its existing fleet of three to support the launch of its international operations, boosting its capacity to meet the
growing demand for reliable and affordable air travel.
Fly Jinnah's fleet expansion, coupled with the launch of international operations, signifies a strategic move towards offering customers more choices for convenient travel options,: Fly Jinnah’s spokesperson said. "This step signifies a milestone for Fly Jinnah, and we are glad to start our international operation by connecting Pakistan’s capital city with Sharjah, the cultural city of the UAE. "
"The start of this service not only underscores our dedication to providing our customers with affordable air travel options but also reflects our commitment to further contribute to the strong economic and trade ties between both nations”.
Fly Jinnah currently connects five major cities in Pakistan, namely Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta, in addition to Sharjah in the UAE.
The airline aims to provide passengers with exceptional travel experiences through its modern fleet, generous seat-pitch, onboard menu and in-flight streaming service.
