Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have been keeping a low profile since their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's, scandal emerged.

Amid this, an invitation is reportedly handed out to them, none other than by King Charles.

In it, the York sisters have been asked to join him at the Royal Ascot this summer.

However, royal experts are urging the former prince's daughters to avoid the spotlight, as attending the event would invite reportedly an uncontrollable media frenzy.

Likewise, Eugiene and Beatrice, without attracting notice, exit the Easter Matins service at Windsor.

According to multiple reports, this decision is in line with the York sisters' response to the Epstein scandal: stay out of the media spotlight, which is gripping their family.

However, the apparent decision was put under strain when a report in The Sun stated Eugeie and Beatrice may join the members of the royal family in the five-day racing fixture carriage procession.

But Robert Jobson, a royal expert, is warning the York sisters not to, as he says, make a mistake of attending Ascot.

"I think they've got to stay away. I think they have to stay away. You're just drawing attention to them," he tells The Sun's Royal Exclusive podcast.

"As soon as they're in the carriage with someone at Ascot, we'll all be focusing on what they're wearing, what they're doing and who is with them."

But he is not alone in sounding the alarm bells for Beatrice and Eugenie.

Samara Gill, a commentator on TalkTV, echoes the same warning as Jobson.

"I don't think there's any getting out of that or rinsing themselves of that for a very long time," she says, adding the pair's reputation has been dealt a blow by links of their parents with Epstein.

"They socially mountaineered themselves into good marriages and they can just afford to go off and live their own life," she concludes.
