PMLN candidate in Lakki quits in favour of Salim Saifullah

LAKKI MARWAT: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) candidate for NA- 41 Mansoor Kamal on Thursday announced to quit the election race in support of former federal minister and Marwat Qaumi Ittehad candidate Salim Saifullah Khan.

Mansoor Kamal, son of former provincial minister Anwar Kamal, made the announcement of his withdrawal from the election arena in the presence of Salim Saifullah Khan at a public meeting held at his residence in Lakki Marwat city.

Speaking on the occasion, Nasir Kamal declared the JUIF candidate for NA-41 Maulana Asjad Mehmood an imported one and said that local residents would repent if they voted him to power. Maulana Asjad will do nothing for you as did by his party’s representatives in the past,” he told the gathering.

“Our wrong decisions on polling day are the main reasons behind backwardness of the district and deprivations of local residents,” he added.He said that Salim Saifullah Khan’s victory would pave the way for bringing sustainable development to the entire district.
