Film screening at Punjab University
LAHORE:The Department of Graphic Design of the Punjab University’s College of Art and Design (CAD) organised a film screening and talk with an award-winning filmmaker Amirul Arham.
According to a press release, Amirul Arham is a Bengali national who has been living in Paris since 1985. His film ‘Social Business’ was screened at Old Campus.
On this occasion, Chairman Department of Graphic Design Dr Ahmad Bilal, former Chairman Israr Chishti, Professor from NCA RM Naeem, faculty members and students were present.
Arham said that the film brought a lot of hope to the people living in societies like ours. He told the audience that we could create connectivity within the filmmakers and seek opportunities to expand our part of the cinema.
Dr Ahmad Bilal told the students that this film brought a message for all of us that problems could be solved and solutions could be converted into sustainable businesses, and this film brought a kind of hope within itself.
