LAHORE:The 30th convocation of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore was held here Monday in which degrees were awarded to 2,705 students of main and constituent campuses.
The convocation was presided over by the Governor Punjab/Chancellor UET Engr Muhammad Balighur Rahman while Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Habib-ur-Rehman delivered the welcome address.
Addressing the convocation, the governor congratulated the successful students and said that the journey of UET and engineering spans a century. ‘Today, Pakistan is making progress rapidly due to UET’s engineers,’ he said and added that the university was playing a great role in shaping the future of students.
