QUETTA: A Balochistan Frontier Corps officer was killed and two other officials were injured in a landmine blast in the Chattar area of Nasirabad district on Sunday. Local Levies sources said that the FC personnel were on routine patrolling in the area when their vehicle hit a landmine planted along the road. The explosion left the FC officer dead on the spot and two officials injured. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital while the identity of deceased official could not be ascertained. Law enforcement agencies reached the site and cordoned off the area.
