Ingredients
Large shrimps 2 kg
Butter (softened) 1 cup
Sugar 2 cups
Eggs 4
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Unsweetened cocoa 1/2 cup
Flour 11/3 cups
Salt 1/2 tsp
For Oreo truffle layer
Oreos 1 pckt
Cream cheese (softened) 6-8 oz or more if needed
For chocolate layer
Milk chocolate chips 11/2 cups
Semi-sweet milk chocolate chips 1/2 cup
Butter or margarine 1 tbsp
METHOD
n Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and blend well. Add vanilla, salt, cocoa and flour. Don’t overbeat. Pour into a greased 9X13 pan.
n Bake at 350 F for 20-25 minutes and allow to cool completely.
n While brownies are cooling, make Oreo truffle layer. Crush Oreos finely in a food processor or by putting them in a zip lock bag and smashing them until finely ground with a rolling pin.
n When Oreos are finely crushed, using hands or a spoon and mix softened cream cheese and crushed Oreos until well combined. Start with 4 oz and keep adding until desired consistency is reached. When Brownies have cooled completely, place layer of Oreo truffle on top.
n For the chocolate layer, combine chocolate chips and butter together in a medium microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, take it out and stir. If the mixture hasn’t melted, then microwave it for 30 seconds more. The mixture should be melted and smooth.
n Evenly spread over the top of Oreo truffle layer. Let it set in the fridge before cutting into squares. Serve chilled.
