Robert Half very wisely said, “Hard work without talent is a shame, but talent without hard work is a tragedy.” Your efforts and persistence will definitely get you the rewards you deserve. Awards actually boost one’s confidence and a drive to do better. In a recently held award ceremony of PAS (Pakistan Advertising Society), BBPR company bagged a total of six awards along with a Google and YouTube Award. The credit goes to company’s CEO - Hasan Rizvi who is armed with a will and strong commitment to take his company to the next level.

“You must believe in your work enough to sell it to a client. In other words, every campaign goes through several think tanks, brainstorming sessions and ideation before it steps foot in a client’s office. Post execution, some shine brighter than others but all of them get our 100 per cent effort at all stages,” said Rizvi.

When asked about his favourite campaign, he said, “It’s difficult to choose a favourite, though ‘Booriyat Busters’ is a notable mention here. Everyone involved in this project performed in sync and worked as one big team. To get a project, of this magnitude, right in the first go was integral. In addition, season 2 is under way and we can’t wait to see the results.” However, he did express his disappointment over ‘Achayi Barhne Do’, which didn’t manage to bag an award this time. “Working with the team at Special Olympics was the most rewarding thing we did this year. We will continue to spread the message of inclusion in every way possible and promote that we are all the same. We are just differently-abled and shouldn’t be looked at like an outcast,” he vowed.

According to the Rizvi, what sets them apart from others is that they focus on breaking away from clutter. He also believes that as the world is being digitised so quickly, it’s important to keep oneself updated. Rizvi, who has attended training programmes abroad such as the PR Asia 2017, plans to conduct seminars for aspiring entrepreneurs, “I would strongly advise to constantly train, research and study. Don’t be afraid to experiment (intelligently), you never know what may click. Lastly, I urge academic institutions to introduce a full-time Public Relations program in the curriculums.”
