  • Kubo and the Two Strings (with the voices of Art Parkinson, Charlize Theron, Ralph Fiennes) - animation; a boy must find a magical suit of armour to defeat a vengeful spirit.

John Phillip Stamos

  • Born on the 19th of August 1963 in Cypress, California, U.S.
  • Son of a Greek immigrant restaurateur; family surname was originally Stamatopoulos which his father shortened to Stamos.
  • Has two younger sisters.
  • Started acting with a part in the soap opera General Hospital (1982 - 1984) before gaining international recognition for his role in the sitcom Full House (1987 - 1995).
  • Has since starred in television series including Jake in Progress (2005 - 2006), ER (2005 - 2009), and Grandfathered (2015 - 2016), as well as appeared in shows like Glee (2010 - 2011), The New Normal (2013), Necessary Roughness (2013), and Galavant (2015).
  • Currently has a recurring role in the Full House spin-off Fuller House (2016 - present). Has also been cast in the second season of the horror comedy Scream Queens (2016).
  • Plays the drums and has occasionally performed in concerts with The Beach Boys.
  • Was married to actress Rebecca Romijn from 1998 till their divorce in 2005.

  • Had a budget of $185 million; has made around $200 million in its first three weeks.
  • Has received positive reviews from critics, who found the film familiar but entertaining.
  • Is dedicated to the memory of actors Anton Yelchin (who died a month before its release) and Leonard Nimoy (who died during pre-production).
