Dear Editor,
I would like to appreciate two articles that were recently published in Us: ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ by Memoona Mukhtar and ‘The benefits of diary writing’ by Esha Bakht. ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ was a very positive article that echoed my pacifism, while ‘The benefits of diary writing’ was an appealing article that contained interesting information about writing diaries.
Thank you,
Ayesha Pervez
Dear Editor,
I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation for an exceptionally well-written and thought-provoking article published recently in your magazine: ‘The truth about lying’ by Ayesha Pervez, in the issue of 20 June.
Ayesha Pervez’s article really got me thinking - who knew lying could mess with your memory too? I always thought it just made things awkward, but turns out, it’s actually bad for your brain and peace of mind. I loved how she mixed science with everyday advice - it didn’t feel like a lecture, just facts we should all know. The part about compulsive and pathological liars was super interesting (and kind of creepy, not going to lie). It's cool how she explained all that without making it boring. Honestly, we hear so much about why lying is wrong, but this article actually showed why it matters, and that made it stand out.
I am always entertained by ‘Comic Relief’ and I think there should be two pages dedicated to this section. Ed, this would really make the section more attractive and help us to really enjoy the comics which are sometimes a bit difficult to read.

Hi Ed,
I read ‘Life of an only student’ by Sabrina M Peters in the 20 June issue, and honestly, wow - major respect to her for sharing something so personal. It takes guts to open up like that. Her story about being the only student in class hit hard. You could really feel her loneliness, but also the strength she built because of it. I loved the way she described the quiet corridors and little things like butterflies and benches in the sun - it made everything feel so real and peaceful, even though she was going through a tough time. It kind of made me realise that sometimes the biggest growth happens when you’re completely on your own.
