Dear Editor,
In the issue of 25 April, I read the articles X-rays - a medical marvel by Memoona Mukhtar and Eat right, stay fit by Muhammad Khizer Nadeem, and found them both highly informative and interesting.
Memoona’s piece on X-rays actually made me read more about Roentgen’s discovery. I confess I had not given any thought about this scientific breakthrough which is a lifesaver, allowing doctors to diagnose conditions without invasive surgery. The article also struck a good balance by highlighting the risks of radiation and emphasizing safety protocols - a reminder that even miracles of science must be used wisely.
Muhammad Khizer Nadeem’s article tackled the everyday yet often overlooked issue of health and nutrition. His tips on small, sustainable changes were refreshing. He rightly connected physical health to mental well-being, which is especially important for students like me who have to balance academic stress with physical activity. Honestly, I always gain weight during exam season, which isn't good at all! Good job, Us

Dear Editor,
Alisha Qasim’s article, What Gen Z really wants from work captured exactly what many of us are trying to express: we’re not lazy, entitled, or disloyal - we’re simply redefining what a meaningful career looks like.
Look, we’ve seen our parents burn out, prices go wild, and the planet heat up–so yeah, we’re not chasing gold watches and 9-to-5s. We want jobs that get us. Like, actually care about our mental health! If your company’s cool, we’ll bring the energy. But if it’s all fake vibes and outdated rules? Bye.
We’re not lazy - we’re just done with the hustle culture hype. Flexibility isn’t a treat, it’s the bare minimum. And yes, we expect technology to be up to speed - not because we’re picky, but because we know how efficient things can be. Why wrestle with clunky systems when better solutions exist? Some label us “difficult” for asking too much, but we’re simply asking for fairness, growth, and respect. If that’s demanding, maybe it’s time the system changed - not us.
Thank you, Alisha, for for a great article.
