Emerging musician Danyal Zafar, brother of singer turned actor Ali Zafar, made his debut with Coke Studio Season 10 last year where he collaborated with Momina Mustehsan for ‘Muntazir’ and played guitars on Ali Zafar’s track, ‘Julie’. He also served as the music composer and writer, alongside his brother, for the recently released Ali Zafar and Maya Ali starrer Teefa In Trouble that has broken all previous records at the local box office.
Coming to his music, Danyal is soon to release his first single, called ‘Ek Aur Ek 3’ that falls under the genre of popular music combined with traditional music. The first look of the song, featuring the young musician, is out while the song will come out next month. It will release internationally across 50 music platforms in collaboration with record label Desi Music Factory. The song is a part of Danyal’s upcoming first album of the same name that will release later this year.
Speaking about his music and the upcoming track, Danyal noted in a press statement, “I took my time... I took a step back and exposed myself to a lot of new listening and observing. I familiarised myself with modern norms of production and allowed myself to evolve as a musician, and in that process I believe my sound emerged in a completely different and new way. I’m very excited to see how people react and I hope people connect with what I have to offer through my music and that my sound resonates with people for its distinctiveness.”
