Among the long list of fans who never get enough of Khan is filmmaker Karan Johar who continues to praise the actor for one reason or another. Clearing speculations about Fawad’s role in the upcoming film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Johar shared his experience of working with Khan and that he has a ‘special role’ in the film.
“I have to say that I was most excited working with Fawad who has a very special role,” the filmmaker shared. “It’s a special appearance in ADHM. But it’s a very strong role, a very pivotal role. His energy is indispensable to the film. I am so glad that he agreed very graciously to be a part of the film. In fact, it was wonderful of him to say yes because it was a special appearance. It’s very important for his character to connect and be a part of the journey for you to kind of understand the emotional existence of the film,” he added.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is scheduled to release on October 28, this year.
