Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Teyana Taylor, Steven Yeun Star in Netflix’s Gripping The Rip
Netflix has released the final trailer for The Rip, the tense new crime thriller starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.
Based on true events, the film follows a team of Miami cops who discover a stash house containing millions in cash. As they bag the money, tensions rise and loyalties are tested, with each officer questioning who they can trust.
Directed by Joe Carnahan, the trailer, released Monday, January 5, shows the team grappling with internal conflicts.
At one point, Ben Affleck’s character accuses Damon of wanting to steal the Rip, while Damon, playing Lieutenant Dane Dumars, confronts Steven Yeun’s Detective Mike Ro, asking, “You a snitch, Mike?”
The film also stars Teyana Taylor, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Sashe Calle, and Kyle Chandler.
The Rip will be available to stream on Netflix starting January 16.
