ISLAMABAD: Pakistan tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has announced to bring Tax Amnesty Scheme, Finance Minister Asad Umar has confirmed.
Talking to media, the finance minister said, “The Tax Amnesty Scheme is being introduced on the demand of business community. This scheme will be brought before the upcoming budget.”
He said the Tax Amnesty Scheme is being introduced to encourage the people to declare their assets in the country and abroad.
Asad Umar said, “The features of this tax amnesty are being prepared.”
“I am making all the decision regarding the economy,” he said and added that government decision are not made behind the close doors.
Commenting of Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Jahangir Tareen face off, Asad Umar said, “Prime Minister can ask anyone to attend the federal cabinet meeting. Jahangir Tareen participated in the official meeting with the permission of the Premier.”
