PSL4: Sir Viv Richards thanks Pakistanis fans

KARACHI: Cricket legend Sir Vivian Richards of the West Indies has thanked the cricket fans in Pakistan for their love and hospitability.
He tweeted after the Pakistan Super League-4, concluded in Karachi where a large number of cricket lovers enjoyed the interesting matches for the last nine days.
Sir Viv Richards, who has mentored the Quetta Gladiators in all the four editions of Pakistan Super League said: “A big thank you to all the fans, Pakistan's cricket lovers, People of Karachi, and all the members of the TeamQuetta family. Sending you all the love”.
Sir Richards is regarded as one of the greatest batsmen of all time. He is the first cricketer in One-day International cricket history to achieve 20 man of the match awards.
Overall, Richards scored 8,540 runs in 121 Test matches at an average of 50.23, including 24 centuries. As a captain, he won 27 of 50 Test matches and lost only 8. He also scored nearly 7,000 runs in One Day Internationals and more than 36,000 in first-class cricket.
Knighted for his contributions to cricket, today Richards is an occasional cricket commentator and is a team mentor of Quetta Gladiator in PSL.
