KARACHI: Players of both teams - Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi – will be wearing black armbands to mark the respect and mourning of the New Zealand tragedy.
There will also be a minute's silence observed before the match began here at the National Stadium on Friday night.
Both teams are playing the Eliminator -2 of the Pakistan Super League – 2019, which will decide the second finalists of the tournament.
Bangladesh's cricketers were right outside the mosque in which the attack took place but they were unhurt and safe.
Later, their tour has been cut short and the team is going back to Bangladesh.
The match is being played in the shadow of tragedy as the terror attack in Christchurch has shaken up everyone worldwide
