DUBAI: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ehsan Mani has confirmed that Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches will take place in Pakistan, as per schedule.
"Matches will take place in Pakistan as per schedule," said Mani while speaking at a press conference.
Earlier Mani met PSL franchise owners in Dubai and discussed the future of matches scheduled in Pakistan, during the ongoing fourth edition of the tournament.
Tensions between Pakistan and India escalated following tit-for-tat airstrikes .
The aforementioned security situation had cast a shadow on PSL matches scheduled to take place in Pakistan.
It must be noted that eight matches of PSL 4 are scheduled to take place in Pakistan, with the final in Karachi on March 17.
