Sultans become first team to reach 200-run mark in PSL4
They have become the first team to reach the 200-run mark in the PLS4 after crossing the previous highest total of 183 for six by Karachi Kings against Multan Sultans at Dubai last week (February 15).
SHARJAH: Multan Sultans, playing against Lahore Qalandars in the tenth T20 match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2019 here on Friday, have piled up 200 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs.
They have become the first team to reach the 200-run mark in the PLS4 after crossing the previous highest total of 183 for six by Karachi Kings against Multan Sultans at Dubai last week (February 15).
However, they could not break the record of scoring the highest total in the PSL history, held by Quetta Gladiators, who made 203 for eight against Lahore Qalandars in Dubai in the first edition of PSL in 2016.
this is for the sixth time that any team scored 200 or more runs in the PSL history. Quetta Gladiators did it thrice while Lahore Qalandars did it twice and now Multan Sultan reached the coveted figure for the first time.
